The Journey to FITTness Empowerment
Every transformation begins with a decision to rise.
✦ Reset. Rise. Repeat. ✦
Hello, I'm Coach Rich and there was a time when I thought my best days were behind me.
I had been an athlete — disciplined, driven, confident. But somewhere along the way, life got heavier than I could carry. I stopped recognizing the man in the mirror. What started as “I’ll get back to it soon” turned into years of neglect — physically, mentally, and spiritually. By the time I hit 359 pounds, and, in my fifties, I wasn’t just out of shape; I was out of hope.
Losing my marriage, my direction, and the years of watching my children grow up from a distance left me in a space I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I went through counseling and therapy, trying to understand how I’d gotten so far from who I truly once was. There were nights I questioned if I even wanted to keep going.
But somewhere in that brokenness, I heard a quiet reminder: you’re still here for a reason.
That was the beginning of my reset.
I didn’t chase perfection — I chased progress. I learned to rebuild from the inside out. I studied, became certified, and began understanding how faith, mindset, movement, and nourishment all connect to create lasting change. My journey is far from over, but every day is a new discovery of hope and purpose. I am down to almost 300lbs. and my path is leading me to be by June at 200lbs. and by September, at my goal weight of 185. I share this to let you know that I'm not just teaching or preaching a concept, I'm walking the journey myself, every day, every moment.
This is how FITTness Empowerment was born — from the ashes of a life that needed to be rebuilt. It’s not a brand about six-pack abs or overnight results. It’s about rediscovering purpose, balance, and strength — body, mind, and spirit. It's a continuous journey of rising, resetting, and repeating for the next rise for a day of new life.
Every person who walks through these doors — physically or virtually — carries their own story of struggle and hope. My mission is simple: to help them realize they’re not alone, they’re not broken, and they’re not too far gone.
Transformation starts with a single decision — to rise.
And if my journey has taught me anything, it’s this: when you decide to rise, everything begins to change.
I don't want to be another coach or instructor, I desire to be a friend, a brother who genuinely cares about everyone who comes to FITTness Empowerment for guidance and help. My goal is not to carry people, but to help them build the strength and confidence to carry themselves. That’s what real empowerment looks like.
Because this isn’t a one-way mission — it’s a shared journey. Every client I work with teaches me something new about courage, resilience, and faith. They remind me why I started. Their victories — big or small — become my fuel. When they rise, I rise. When they struggle, I walk beside them.
“I’m not just coaching transformation — I’m living it with them.”
That’s what the FITT Family is built on — connection, growth, and shared strength. We celebrate progress together, we rebuild through setbacks together, and we rise together. I don’t just coach people through transformation; I live it with them. Because at the end of the day, I need this journey just as much as they do.
If you’re ready to rise, reset, and rediscover your own strength — welcome to the FITT Family.
Together, we’ll rebuild from the inside out and uncover what’s been there all along: your purpose, your power, your best self.
